Terms of use
These terms cover the One Tap Map app and this website. They're short on purpose. If anything here is unclear, email support@serenalambert.com.
Who we are
One Tap Map is made and sold by Serena Grace Lambert, an independent developer in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, trading under DMCC freelance licence Serena Grace Lambert FL 469464. Apple's terms
When you download One Tap Map from the App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement(the Standard EULA) is your licence to use the app. These terms add to it. If they ever conflict, Apple's EULA wins.
Using One Tap Map safely
One Tap Map starts directions in another app. It doesn't give directions itself.
- Set up your trip before you move off. Never use your phone while driving. Tap your place before you set off, and follow your map app's voice guidance.
- Follow the road, not the screen. Obey traffic laws, road signs and the police. If directions and the road disagree, the road wins.
- Check your pins. Directions go to the pin you saved. If a place moves, or its entrance changes, update the pin.
Map apps and other services
Apple Maps, Google Maps and Waze are run by other companies, and their own terms and privacy policies apply when you use them. One Tap Map isn't affiliated with or endorsed by them. Routes, traffic, travel times, tolls and road information all come from your map app, and I can't promise they're accurate or complete. If a map app changes how it accepts directions from other apps, some options (such as avoiding tolls) may stop working until One Tap Map is updated.
Free and Unlimited
- One Tap Map is free for two places, with no time limit.
- One Tap Map Unlimited is a one-time in-app purchase. It isn't a subscription and never renews. It adds as many places as you like, the medium and large widgets, Avoid tolls, and per-place options: a different map app, travel mode and toll setting for each place.
- The price is shown before you buy, in your currency. Prices can differ between countries and change over time, and I test different prices, so you may see a different price from someone else.
- Apple handles the payment. Unlimited belongs to the Apple Account you bought it with; restore it on another iPhone with Settings › Restore purchase.
- Family Sharing isn't available for Unlimited.
- Refunds are handled by Apple: go to reportaproblem.apple.com. Your rights under consumer law aren't affected.
Your places
The places you save are yours. They're stored on your iPhone and in your own iCloud, if you use it. I can't see them, so I can't recover them for you: keep iCloud on if you want them backed up. See the privacy policyfor everything the app and this site collect.
Changes to the app
I keep improving One Tap Map, so features may change. If a feature you paid for is ever removed for good, I'll give fair notice in the app's release notes. If I ever stop developing the app, it will keep working as long as iOS and the map apps allow, but I can't promise that forever.
Liability
I make One Tap Map with care, but it's provided as it is, as far as the law allows. I'm not responsible for losses caused by map apps, wrong or out-of-date map data, traffic, missed appointments, fines, tolls or accidents, or for any indirect loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn't allow to be limited, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Apple's EULA sets out further limits.
This website
The website is for information about One Tap Map. I keep it accurate, but things change; the app and Apple's App Store listing are the final word on what the app does and costs.
The law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai. If you live in the UK, the EU or another country whose consumer laws protect you, you keep those protections and can bring a claim in your own country's courts.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, this page changes and the date at the top moves. Significant changes are mentioned in the app's release notes.
