Widgets
How do I add a widget?
Home Screen: touch and hold an empty spot, tap Edit, then Add Widget. Search for One Tap Map, choose a size and tap Add Widget. Lock Screen: touch and hold the Lock Screen, tap Customise, tap the widget area and choose One Tap Map. The app also has a step-by-step widget guide in Settings.
My widget says Choose a place, or shows the wrong place
Touch and hold the widget, tap Edit Widget and pick a place. If a place was deleted, the widget shows your top place, labelled Top place, until you choose another.
Does the widget show travel times?
Not yet. Widgets show each place's name and area. Travel times are planned for a later update.
Can I have more places on one widget?
Yes. The medium widget holds four places and the large one six. They come with Unlimited.
Map apps
Which map apps does it work with?
Apple Maps, Google Maps and Waze. Choose your default in Settings › Directions. With Unlimited you can choose a different app, travel mode and toll setting for each place.
My map app isn't installed
One Tap Map asks whether to open another app instead. If none of the three is installed, it opens directions in your browser.
Avoid tolls isn't working
Avoid tolls comes with Unlimited. It works in Apple Maps (on iOS 18.4 or later) and Waze. One Tap Map can't pass it to Google Maps, so set it in Google Maps itself.
Directions take me to the wrong entrance
Open the place in One Tap Map, tap Edit, and drag the pin to the gate or entrance you use. Every tap after that goes to the pin.
Your places and Unlimited
How do I restore Unlimited on a new iPhone?
Unlimited belongs to your Apple Account. Sign in with the same account, open One Tap Map and go to Settings › Restore purchase.
How do I get a refund?
Purchases are handled by Apple, so refunds are too. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, and choose One Tap Map.
Do my places sync between devices?
Yes, through your own iCloud, as long as iCloud is on for One Tap Map. One Tap Map is for iPhone only.
Is my data private?
Your places never leave your iPhone, except through your own iCloud. The full detail is in the privacy policy.
